A Ford F 150 “toughbox” aka “ford six door”.
Not really a sighting, I’ve actually worked on this truck. Just was next door, so snapped a pic for the oppos. It’s a factory option, maybe one year only, has something to do with miracle gro. Those doors in the bed open like a regular door, and have slide-out drawers/bins. This is the only one I’ve ever seen, I don’t know why this didn’t catch on. ——apparently, most were crew cabs, hence “six door”.

I had no idea this was a thing. It seems rather brilliant, really.

Hmm, apparently that was a thing. I’m totally amused that they had to put escape pulls in (maybe with the drawers out it could fit a person?

There was a version of the Colorado like that, but I can’t remember what it was called or any pictures of it.
Edit* I found it
I think it was just called the Colorado Utility

Google doesn’t seem to know much about it, but it seems the doors open to a secured compartment with built in storage. Cool!

Someone at Ford looked at the description of that feature and said “nope that’s a trunk, needs escape pulls.” My guess is that person was of a lawyerly persuasion.

The first time I saw one it was driving by me, I thought maybe I was crazy until I found one on craigslist
